Written Remains is an open-ended series of fictional journals recovered from different places, people, and points in time.
Each volume presents one person’s private record exactly as they left it: dated entries, missing days, unfinished thoughts, hurried writing, sketches, stains, and the occasional page that raises more questions than it answers. There is no outside narrator to explain what happened and no promise that the writer understood it themselves.
Some journals document strange discoveries. Others record disappearances, impossible encounters, or events that were never meant to become public. Their writers may be reliable, mistaken, frightened—or hiding something.
Every journal tells its own story, but certain names, locations, objects, and unanswered questions may reappear across the series. The journals can be read individually or collected as pieces of a larger mystery.
What remains on the page is all the reader has.
